Honoring the Fourth

Our friend Ben has asked for and gotten permission from our friend and fellow blog contributor, Richard Saunders, to reprint some wonderful patriotic quotes from his July 4th 2008 post, “Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” (which see).
